WESTWOLD HOSPITALITY TRAINING PROGRAM

The program aims at the eradication of poverty by providing hands-on skills to young women from socially disadvantaged backgrounds characterised by crime, poverty and teenage pregnancies. These women are empowered to generate income to sustain themselves, thereby improving their lives and that of their extended families. The programme started in 2004 and is run by a team of professionals and volunteers with many years of experience in social development and capacity building. 

 

 

 

 

EIKENHOFF AND VLAKFONTEIN SOCIAL PROJECTS

Offers academic tuition in Mathematics, English, Business Economics, Sciences, Art and Literature to learners living in the Eikenhoff and Vlakfontein informal settlements, south of Johannesburg.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BROOKSIDE STUDY CENTRE

Carries out leadership development programs aimed at university students and young professionals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CISCO SYSTEMS TRAINING PROGRAM

Provides training in computer networking to high school learners and university students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INTERNATIONAL WORK CAMPS

An initiative in which volunteers from overseas work side by side with local youth to improve the living standards of rural communities through projects which enhance sanitation, basic hygiene and primary healthcare.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

KAELA BOYS CLUB

A youth club for boys aged 9 to 17. The club organizes soccer training, games, hiking trips and camps for its junior members, and classes on study techniques, life skills and personal development for its senior members. Kaela Boys Club's programs are designed to instill values, develop character and create leaders who posses moral integrity and are committed to improving the communities in which they live.
